Welcome to Serevaya !

You may have heard The Starfish Story in which the old men asked the boy why does he bother to throw them back into the ocean, one by one, when there were tens of thousands of starfish on the beach, doomed to die when the sun will rise, because he won't be able to make much of a difference !? ... and the boy, after picking up another starfish and throwing it as far as he could into the ocean, said smilingly : “It made a difference to that one!”

That's what is about here!

Sufis: The People of the Path, Vol. 2 - A Holiday from Sanity - 8 - OSHO

A Sufi story in this series has as its theme the eternal question “What Is God?” Osho expands on the story to reveal that the concept of God is the experience of unbounded energy that happens when the ego disappears. God is an ongoing expanding process; a never-ending pilgrimage.

“If you can understand these few words: here, now, this… These three words are the three pillars of Sufism, of Zen, of all that is essential religion. These three words – let them vibrate in your being again and again: here, now, this.”

While commenting on Sufi stories and answering many questions concerning the spiritual search, Osho uses his unique insight to unravel problems that contemporary people everywhere are faced with in their lives.

Death is a recurring theme throughout this series, as Osho reveals the Sufi concept of “dying before death” in order to achieve spiritual awakening.

(Anahad Mein Bisram) - Resting in the Unstruck Sound - Osho - 1 of 10

A 10-part discourse series opening with the image of a bird that builds only a small nest of grass for rest, while humans have built ever more elaborate homes seeking a similar refuge — leading into Osho's exploration of "anahad," the unstruck, soundless sound at the core of existence, as the ultimate and final resting place beyond which no further shelter is needed. Osho draws distinctions between science and true knowing, thought and thoughtlessness, and the manufactured calm of old age versus authentic inner peace.

(Adhyatam Upanishad) - The Upanishad of the Inner Self - Osho - 1 of 17

A 17-part discourse series given by Osho at Mount Abu in October 1971, based on the ancient Adhyatma Upanishad. Osho explores the nature of jivanmukti — liberation while still alive — describing the liberated one as someone who remains equanimous whether honored by the virtuous or wounded by the wicked, and who no longer distinguishes between the individual soul, ultimate reality, and creation through mere intellectual knowledge. A profound inquiry into what it means to know Brahman directly rather than conceptually.

Meditations on Sufism - 1 - OSHO

Sufism is the mystical dimension of the Islamic faith. Osho clarifies the Sufi approach to religiosity, which is to become part of the mystery of existence by living meditatively, being total and transcending experience itself. Osho distills the essence of Sufism, not to inform you about the state of mysticism, but to create a situation in which you can discover the mystic within yourself.

These remarkable discourses are original, live recordings made during Osho's
extemporaneous daily talks to audiences of disciples and visitors at his meditation retreat in Poona, India. His talks were, and continue to be, central to his work as a mystic trying to find ways to share his experience. And as you
listen to this great teacher, you too will enter a state of meditative awareness that will bring you to a new understanding of this ancient pathway into the wonders and mysteries of existence.

(Dhai Akhar Prem Ka) - The Two-and-a-Half Letters of Love - Osho

Taking its title from Kabir's famous line about the word "love" — written with only "two and a half letters" in Hindi, yet containing more wisdom than any scholar's library — this is a collection of personal letters written by Osho (then known as Acharya Rajneesh) to individual disciples between 1968 and 1971, each addressed by name. Rather than formal discourses, these are intimate notes touching on love, surrender, silence, and inner awakening, closing with the same Kabir couplet that gives the book its title.

(Bahutere Hain Ghat) - Many Are the Shores - Osho

Taking its title from a mystic Palto couplet — "just as the river is one, many are its shores" — this discourse explores how the mind's division creates all difference, while beyond mind lies a single, unified taste of truth. Osho uses the image of many rivers merging into one ocean to illustrate how different paths (Buddha's way, Mahavira's way, Christ's way) all dissolve into the same destination, while people mistakenly cling to their particular "shore" — a scripture, a ritual, a tradition — as if it were the truth itself rather than just one of countless ways to reach it.
